NO DOUBT BARCA IS NUMBER 1 AND HAS DOMINATED SOCCER, CREDIT MUST BE GIVING TO THEM FOR THEIR GREAT EFFORT LAST SEASON IN WINNING 4 TROPHIES, AND DOING AWESOME AGAIN THIS YEAR. NO DOUBT A TEAM TO BE RECONED WITH.

Knowing that I am in the Barca forum and that it goes the Barca way I understand why most of you think Messi is better. However one question comes to mind, [b[color=#FF0000]]WOULD REAL MADRID PAY 80 MIL EUROS FOR MESSI?[/color] [/b] I dont think so. I am not putting Messi down he is a hell of a good player up top next to Ronaldo. Messi's fame has been helped along by the fact that Barca has been doing so well as a team. However if we turn the clock back a couple years to when Barca was playing almost as bad as a 2nd division team, Messi was just a good player in a bad performing team, kinda like Madrid of lately. You do the math. I happen to think that Real Madrid is holding back Ronaldo in an attempt to get the team to perform better as a team, and the fact that Ronaldo suffered a bad injury at the beginning of la Liga seems to have slowed him down as if he was afraid to get injured again. Also everytime CR9 has the ball he gets aggressively challanged by 2 or 3 players, on the other hand it seems to me that everytime Messi has the ball the other players are afraid to challange or seem like they arent even trying.

P.S. However I am a Real Madrid fan and must say that Barca's days are numbered, if not in April against Madrid than next year for sure, Real is starting to come together and this scares Barca you can see it in their eyes.
