Could Kaiserslautern defeat Bayern?

Under normal circumstances, I would say no. Bayern just has too much talent. But, this talent could potentially be an Achilles heel for mighty Bayern. It seems almost the entire squad plays on an international team somewhere, and a lot of those players must have had to recover from this summer's World Cup. Including the critical absence of Robben, and something that was reflected in Bayern's play in the second half against Wolfsburg. This means that Bayern has not had the chance to practice together like, say, a team such as Kaiserslautern. Whose roster, for the most part, has been training together since June. Plus, the win last weekend will allow them to carry momentum into Friday's match. And the atmosphere on the Betzenberg will be electric. It may just be that the Red Devils get lucky. However, after the winter break when these teams will meet again at the Allianz Arena, it will most likely be a completely different story. But for now, I am relishing the fact that this newly promoted team, I'm sure, is striking fear into the hearts of the Bayern faithful.

I am so excited to see that this match will be carried live on GOLTV (I seriously considered a quick trip to Germany just to watch this game live). It makes the whole switch from Dish Network already well worth it. It was frustrating when Dish suddenly stopped carrying GOLTV, it was the primary reason that I elected their service (plus my girlfriend liked their other programming). Now that I have GOLTV back, it is so awesome. It blows FSC out of the water.
